1. 개요 [편집]
1989년 개봉한 디즈니 애니메이션 인어공주의 OST. 앨런 멩컨이 작곡, 하워드 애시먼이 작사를 맡았으며, 주방장 루이 역의 러네이 오베어전와가 노래를 불렀다.
작중에서 주방장 루이가 생선요리를 하는 끔찍한(?) 장면[1]을 세바스찬이 목격하고, 루이가 세바스찬을 발견하여 세바스찬도 요리하려 하는 장면에서 주방장 루이가 부르는 노래이다.
2008년 브로드웨이에서 초연된 뮤지컬 인어공주에 삽입되었으며 주방장 루이 역의 존 트레이시 이건이 노래를 불렀다.
여담으로 미녀와 야수의 르미에가 부른 Be Our Guest랑 비슷하다. 물론 이쪽이 더 먼저 나왔지만. 둘 모두 프랑스 요리를 테마로 한다는 점이 동일하다.
'Les Poissons(레 푸아송)'은 프랑스어로 '그 생선(The Fish)'이라는 뜻이다. 루이라는 이름도 프랑스어권의 이름이니, 루이의 고향은 미식의 나라 프랑스로 보인다.
